Do you offer a free measure and quote?
We do. Given the extensive range we carry, we recommend visiting one of our showrooms first to shortlist the products you’re interested in. Thanks to modern estimation software, we can usually provide accurate pricing right there in-store during your visit.
How long does installation typically take?
It depends on the flooring type and the scope of the job. Carpet installations are often completed within a single day, occasionally stretching to two. Hard flooring generally takes one to two days, though more complex hardwood projects — such as herringbone or chevron patterns — can take a week or more.
Can I take home samples before I decide?
Absolutely. We have samples available to borrow and actively encourage it. Seeing how a floor looks under your own lighting and against your existing décor is the best way to make a confident decision.
Do you handle the full project — removal of old flooring, subfloor prep, and installation?
Yes. We provide a comprehensive service and coordinate every aspect of the job. For carpet, installation is handled in-house through our partnerships with two premium installation services. For hard flooring, we project-manage the process to ensure quality and keep labour costs as low as possible — however, the engagement and payment of installers is handled directly by our clients.
What warranty do your products come with?
All of our products are backed by factory warranties ranging from five years through to lifetime cover, depending on the product. Specific warranty details are available in-store for every product we stock.
Do you deliver, and is there a delivery fee?
A third-party courier can be arranged for clients who need delivery to site. In most cases, however, installers will bring materials with them as part of their service.
Can I buy flooring from you and use my own installer?
For sure. We welcome it and encourage clients to use their own trusted tradespeople whenever possible.
Do you offer interest-free or finance options?
We don’t offer traditional finance or interest-free plans. However, we do accept payment in cryptocurrency (such as Bitcoin) as well as Chinese Yuan (CNY), in addition to Australian Dollars.
What should I do to prepare my home before the installers arrive?
This depends on the level of service you’ve arranged. If your installers are moving furniture, all smaller items — electronics, ornaments, fragile belongings — should be cleared by you beforehand. The installation team is there to shift the heavy pieces you can’t manage on your own.
Can I visit your showroom without an appointment?
Absolutely. Both of our Melbourne showrooms are open to the public and no appointment is necessary. Just walk in during opening hours — our team will be happy to help.
How often should I clean my carpet, and what’s the best method?
Vacuum at least once a week — more often in high-traffic areas. Professional deep cleaning using hot water extraction is recommended every 12 to 18 months to maintain your factory warranty and extend the life of your carpet. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dye-free cloth (never rub) and refer to the care guide supplied with your carpet.
Can I install new flooring over my existing floors?
In many cases, yes. Laminate, hybrid, and engineered hardwood can often be installed over existing flooring, provided the surface beneath is flat, clean, and securely fixed down. That said, some products require direct subfloor installation, so it’s always worth checking with us first.
